CONCEPT

Into the Woods is a photographic blog about my first camping trip to Yosemite National Park. I wanted to create a space where I could showcase the photographs I took during the trip as well as my experiences. I was able to utilize the new Adobe XD program when creating my mock-ups and prototypes. The result led to a simple and interactive experience with fully functional galleries and entertaining stories.

HOMEPAGE ANIMATED CONCEPT

Instead of using a traditional navigation bar, I wanted to test an animated style of navigation. I used boxes in order to represent photographs. Hovering over a box will result in a change of background to a photograph taken from that represented day. Clicking on the box will then lead you to the desired webpage.
